afghanistan is too big for one coordinate. A range would be better Perhaps use lat. and long. for Kabul. I'm still too new
Photo caption wrong
[edit]The second photo under Vegetation is labelled "Northeastern Afghanistan, near Herat and Meymanah". Both of those cities are in northwestern Afghanistan. I'm not sure if that caption is meant instead to apply to the first photo. Just to be safe, I'll remove that mention. 214.3.138.234 (talk) 13:30, 22 May 2009 (UTC)
Region
[edit]I would think having only one subregion would be better suited, thus keep central Asia as this is what afghanistans page says and other sources (britannica) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.211.48.175 (talk) 22:58, 22 February 2015 (UTC)
Climate
[edit]Climate info, is all wrong. Not all of Afghanistan gets "very cold" in the winter. In fact, Jalalabad and Kandahar are always warm and humid in the winter with humidity reaching 67% due to warm air coming in from India. This article in general needs major work and sources to make it encyclopedic worthy. Akmal94 (talk) 04:28, 30 March 2016 (UTC)

Copyright violation removal
[edit]Back in 2009, User:Thricecube (who seems to have some bad misunderstandings about what was and wasn't public domain) did a lot of wholesale copying from various copyrighted sources into Wikipedia. This article was affected, with these two edits which seem to have been copied from here. (It's essentially guaranteed that the content he added was copied from somewhere--every single paragraph he added, as far as I can tell, was copied from one source or another.) I'm going to work on removing the content he added, but unfortunately it may leave some gaps in the article. I encourage other editors to fill in the gaps that my deletions create.
