2022 Austrian Presidential Election

[edit]

Hello! The 2022 Austrian Presidential Election is finished. :) The Exit poll says, Alexander Van der Bellen is winned the election, over 55,9%, the secondary is the FPÖ, and the third is the Beer Party candidate person. So, i think, there will be no Secondary round, because of the 50% percent, you know, if the candidate person is got the 51% percent, there will be no secondary election on November 6, 2022. The 2022 Brazil presidential election, secondary round is coming in October 30, 2022, Jair Bolsonaro and Lula da Silva will be running. The opinion polling is shown, Lula da Silva is nearly got the 50% percent, and Jair Bolsonaro is got the 45% percent. So, Alexander Van der Bellen is winned the election in Austria. Did you listened the news by the way ? TomFZ67 (talk) 17:17, 9 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Barnstar For You!

Stop icon

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Concerns

[edit]

A couple of concerns about your editing. Firstly, you regularly use the argument along the lines of "I'm Austrian and I know better than you" when discussing or reverting other editors. This isn't acceptable – your nationality gives you no priveleges over other editors. This is verging on WP:OWNership of articles.

Secondly, you blindly hit the revert button far too regularly. I know that every time I make an edit to an Austrian election article, there's a high probability I will see it reverted by you. This is also OWN-type behaviour.

Regarding your latest revert, you claimed "They need to be listed, as they appear on the ballot, with the detailed long AND short versions". This is not the case – it is purely your opinion; there is no "need" to do anything. As I mentioned, all previous election articles list the names of the parties in their usual format and I see no good reason to deviate from that rule.

In summary – please stop claiming to know better and please stop blindly hitting the undo button when other editors make reasonable edits. You do not own the Austrian election articles. Number 57 03:10, 8 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This is even more of a concern and a clear contravention of WP:OWN. If it isn't undone within a reasonable time period, I'm afraid this is going to end up at WP:ANI. Number 57 03:23, 8 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Why don't you admit that you are wrong and just put it onto the discussion page ? It is NO valid reason from you to say "just because it has been this way in all past elections, it has to be this way in this election too." I think the table should use the exact ballot language including the short names of the parties. Translated to English of course. Glasperlenspieler (talk) 03:39, 8 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I am not "wrong" because there is no right or wrong here. However, it is correct to say that this is how all other election articles deal with party names.
Please address the points about your ownership issues. Number 57 03:43, 8 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Please respond on the talk page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:2024_Austrian_legislative_election Glasperlenspieler (talk) 05:37, 8 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The talkpage discussion is not the place to discuss your ownership issues (which Obi2canibe agrees is a problem). Please could you address this concern. Number 57 16:14, 8 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
